• Large Animal Veterinarians – Using Google Places API, a search was done from the center of each county using a radius of 50,000 meters (approximately 31 miles). The search term used was ‘large animal veterinarian’. Each county in the state was combined into one statewide data set and duplicates were removed.

• Farm Supply Stores – Using Google Places API, a search was done from the center of each county using a radius of 50,000 meters (approximately 31 miles). The search term used was ‘farm supply store’. Each county in the state was combined into one statewide data set and duplicates were removed.

• Permanent Pasture Acreage – County percentages are calculated from the 2022 Ag Census.
